  • File

    • New
Creates a new Multiplex Manager file. A new file by default comes with the four standard markers, 6-FAM, VIC, PET and NED.

If you have not saved before, the program will prompt you for a file name. After choosing a file name, subsequent saving overwrites the original file. Note that Saving your file clears the Undo/Redo history,

  • Utilities

    • Export CSV Template
Exports the columns from the "Marker Data" tab into a comma separated text format, for manipulation in a spreadsheet package.

    • Import CSV Data
Many users of this program often already have their marker information and sequence data in a spreadsheet format. First export a CSV template using the above menu item. Then import the CSV template into your favourite spreadsheet package. You can then arrange your data so the columns match the columns of the template. If you do not have all the various data fields, leave the column empty. Then export from the spreadsheet program, again in a CSV format. Finally, import this file into Multiplex Manager using this menu item.

    • Calculate All Annealing Temperatures
Calculates approximate annealing temperatures for all markers.

    • Set Parameters for Annealing Temp Calculation
Brings up a dialog box that allows you to adjust the parameters used for calculating annealing temperature.

  • Help

    • On-line Help
Launches the Multiplex Manager website and shows the Help section.

    • About
